On October 25th, we hosted our very first Money Made Fun Workshop (Group 1)— and it was a huge success!
All spots were fully booked, and our classroom was filled with curious kids, bright smiles, and lots of “aha!” moments about how money really works.
From the very start, the room buzzed with excitement. Kids arrived ready to learn, play, and create — and by the end of the day, they left not only with their own DIY piggy banks, but also with new skills and confidence about saving, spending, and sharing wisely.
What the Workshop Is All About
The Money Made Fun Workshop is a one-day learning experience for kids aged 5-10, designed to make money lessons fun, simple, and hands-on.

Instead of memorizing numbers, kids play games, join group challenges, and use their creativity to explore:
-
What money is and how it’s changed over time
-
The difference between needs and wants
-
How to earn money through effort and creativity
-
How to save and plan using their own DIY piggy bank
-
The joy of giving and sharing with others
Each activity builds not just financial knowledge, but also decision-making skills, confidence, and gratitude — qualities that help kids grow into smart, caring adults.

Highlights from Our October Workshop
Throughout the day, we saw kids proudly show their ideas, help each other with challenges, and think critically about how they’d use their money jars.

The most exciting moment? Watching every child decorate their DIY Piggy Bank — each one unique, colorful, and full of personality.
By the end of the workshop, every child received a Certificate of Achievement, a big smile, and a little spark of pride in understanding money.
Behind the Workshop

Money Made Fun is taught by Andrew and Mollie Larsen, American financial advisors and educators who believe financial literacy should start early — and that learning about money can (and should!) be fun.
With backgrounds in finance and education, they’ve designed this workshop to blend real-world money lessons with creativity, teamwork, and joy.
Why Parents Love It
Parents have shared how amazed they were by how much their children learned in just one day — and how those lessons continued at home.
One mom told us that her daughter now clearly understands the difference between needs and wants.
That’s exactly what we love to hear — little moments of learning that blossom into lifelong habits.
